The battles along his father’s path to the White House—and back again—were hellish, said Eric Trump. Not just for the Trump family, but also for President Donald Trump’s supporters, he told Club 47 USA, a Florida-based group that supported all three of his father’s presidential runs, during an appearance on Nov. 3.

“We just became the proxy for the American people,” he said.
