A jet with eight people on board crashed as it was taking off from Bangor International Airport in Maine at about 7:45 p.m. on Jan. 25, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The private plane, a Bombardier Challenger 600, was attempting to take off during a winter storm with snow and freezing temperatures, only 3 degrees above zero, according to the National Weather Service.
