28 Groups Ask Biden Admin to Reinforce Women’s Rights in Sports

More than 20 legal and advocacy groups, and former education officials have sent a letter (pdf) to the Biden administration’s Department of Education (DOE) requesting that the Department quash its plan to allow males to compete in women’s sports and use women’s locker rooms.
The DOE proposed regulations in 2022 to amend Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 to include “gender identity” in the definition of sex discrimination.
