Uruguay faces Slovenia in a pre-World Cup 2014 friendly match on Wednesday, June 4.

The match is set to kick-off at 7:30 p.m. EDT at Estadio Centenario.

The game will be broadcast on Servus TV and TV Slovenija 2 in Slovenia.

The game will also stream on beIN Sports Arabia 9 HD and beIN Sports Arabia 14 HD in Oman, Morocco, and most Middle East countries; SuperSport 3 Africa in Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, and Cameroon; and SuperSports Plus CH 203 in Singapore.

This match is Uruguay’s last pre-World Cup friendly.

Coach Oscar Tabarez has been experimenting with different players in star striker Luis Suarez’s absence, and has found two possible replacements in Christian Stuani and Abel Hernandez. Stuani in particular scored the winning goal against North Ireland last Saturday.

Tabarez is still keen on wait on Suarez before declaring his final team.

“We'll not decide the [starting eleven] until the day before the [Costa Rica] game,” Tabarez said when asked about Suarez’s chances of featuring in the World Cup opener.

“Luis will join the squad this week and, depending on how his knee responds, we'll see how soon we can count on him to start a game.”

Although Uruguay have Edinson Cavani and Diego Forlan lined up to replace Suarez, Uruguay captain Diego Lugano still thinks Suarez is “irreplaceable.”

“He’s our best player, the one who makes the difference. His injury weakens us but if he doesn’t make it, Uruguay aren’t going to play with 10 men. Someone will come in and play for him.

“Stuani is in great shape. He’s sharp and very hungry, and Abel Hernandez is ready to break through.”
