Trump Wins Ohio: Decision Desk HQ

President Donald Trump won the crucial battleground state of Ohio, according to a race call by Decision Desk HQ.

The president led the race against Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden by 7 points with more than 95 percent of the precincts reporting when the call was made.

Decision Desk showed Biden in the lead 205-162 in electoral votes at 11:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday, with 270 votes needed for victory.

Trump nonetheless maintained multiple paths to victory and held leads in the battlegrounds of Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, and Iowa. Decision Desk did not yet call a winner in Texas, where Trump led by 5 points with more than 92 percent of the votes counted.

Biden led in Minnesota and Arizona.

Earlier in the evening, Decision Desk declared Trump the winner in Florida. The call held up with Trump leading by 3.5 points hours later with more than 99 percent of the votes counted. Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal, and The Associated Press did not declare a winner in Florida as of 11:38 p.m. ET.
