President Donald Trump plans to supplement any border wall funding agreed upon by Congress with monies from other areas of the budget to get to his goal of reinforcing the southern border with a physical barrier, Acting Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney said Feb. 10.
“We’ll take as much money as you can give us and then we will go off and find the money someplace else, legally, in order to secure that southern barrier, but this is going to get built with or without Congress,’” Mulvaney told Fox News.
