Tropical Storm Dorian will remain over the Atlantic Ocean for the next few days, on a track toward the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and the Leeward Islands, Weather.com reported Thursday morning.

Dorian is a 60 mph mid-grade tropical storm, but could be upgraded to strong early next week as it nears the islands. The National Hurricane Center forecast shows it will likely skim over the top of the islands, but the forecast’s margin of error allows for the possibility that it Dorian could hit the islands, according to Weather.com. Dorian is moving west-northwest at 17 mph.

Another tropical storm, Flossie, in the eastern Pacific has formed. It may head toward Hawaii, but will likely be a weak storm.
