Traffic Collision on US HWY 101 South

Two lanes were blocked this morning on southbound U.S. Highway 101 in San Mateo because of a multi-vehicle collision.

The collision was reported at about 10:32 am, on the stretch of highway just east of South Amphlett Blvd, San Mateo. The collision appeared to involve three vehicles, one of which was a Black Ducati Monster Motorcycle.

California Highway Patrol, paramedics, and fire engines were on the scene, blocking the left two lanes to clear the accident.

The collision was resolved around 11:20 am, after which regular traffic flow resumed.
