The world has embraced Korean pop music (K-Pop). YouTube Trends blog reports that global viewership of K-Pop videos has more than doubled since 2011. The music video “Gangnam Style” by K-Pop artist Psy is the most viewed video in the history of YouTube, surpassing 1.7 billion views.
