The final Titanfall DLC is out.

“IMC Rising” is the third DLC after “Frontier’s Edge” and “Expedition.”

Three new maps, “Backwater,” “Zone 18,” and “Sandtrap” will be added to the game.

“Backwater” has a somewhat open setting, with open rice paddy fields and structures located on the high ground in the center of the map. Pilots can also utilize the underground grain storage facilities to move quickly and escape enemy Titans.

“Zone 18” is set in an old Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation base. The buildings in the map are deliberately designed to be about the same height in order to force pilots to face each other and not camp out in a safe, elevated spot for most of the game.

Sand Trap“ is designed to let players ”showcase skills, hone their tactics or just play with their favorites toys.“ Elements from older maps like ”Fracture“ and ”Rise“ are incorporated in ”Sand Trap,” but in such a way that it encourages a different type of gameplay across the various game modes.

Here is the official description of the DLC via the Titanfall blog

“Despite gains made in earlier conflicts, the IMC must seek every advantage they can find, given that their reinforcements from the Core Systems are still years away. In ”IMC Rising “, the IMC begin recommissioning old secret installations to rekindle their shattered industrial military complex. In support of this objective, IMC security forces deploy to track down their own deserters and mutineers, before too many of the installations’ precise coordinates find their way into the hands of the Militia.”

“IMC Rising” is available for $9.99. Gamers who have purchased the Titanfall Season Pass for $24.99 will get the DLC once it is out.

Although “IMC Rising” is the final Titanfall DLC, Respawn will continue to support the game with stability and general improvement updates, as well as any non-map updates.
