Tila Tequila has been getting an increasing amount of attention in 2013, primarily because her Facebook page (no, it was not hacked she says) is filled with crazy posts about the Illuminati, Hitler, and Paul Walker’s death, among other subjects.
Tequila has also posted videos and blog posts recently about how Nelson Mandela, the recently deceased former South African president, was a member of a secret society, and about her own experience with parallel world and “the Matrix.”
Tequila, who has over 1.9 million followers on Facebook, first launched to fame on MySpace in the mid-2000s, and expanded her fame with a reality television show on MTV several years later. She’s also written a book and been involved with fashion.
Tequila, now 32, nearly died from an attempted suicide by overdosing on pills which was later termed an accidental overdose. She was rushed to the hospital from a brain aneurysm, and completed rehab treatment several weeks later
“I can remember feeling like the bones were popping out the side of my head [because] the pain was so bad. I took some medications and tried to go for a nap, but when I woke up I was vomiting,” Tequila told Us Weekly. “I really thought I was going to die.”
She added that she hoped to talk to groups of people who were having problems and help them, and was contemplating going back to school to study psychiatry.
It’s unclear when her bizarre postings online began.
In one topic she has discussed, Hitler, she said that the German dictator was “anti-racist” and “not a bad man.”
People responding to her thoughts have different opinions of them. Some have encouraged her while others wonder about her sanity.
“Ever talked with anyone about this? Like a shrink?” asked Milos Lazic.
“I’m sorry Miss Tila, but I will not follow you no more. I joined this page years back for what were, a model, a singer, actress, it was nice, but now this, I can’t tell what this is,” said Jason Lawrence.
