After taking the Cadillac Championship on Sunday in Doral, Fla., Tiger Woods now has five wins in the past year. It is the first time in five years he has had two wins before the Masters.

He was forced to withdraw in the final round of this tournament last year due to a recurring Achilles’ tendon injury.

“It’s nice to be healthy,” Woods told the New York Times. “I was struggling there for a while.”

“I enjoy being there. … That’s why I work my tail off and lift all those weights, hit all those balls, and spend those countless hours out there—to be in that position,” Woods said.

He finished with 1-under 71.

Steve Stricker came closest to Woods, but only made pars on the last five holes. Woods beat Stricker by two shots. Stricker had spent 45 minutes working with Woods before the tournament helping Woods with his putting posture, according to a PGA report.

“He’s a good friend. We talk a lot about putting. It’s good to see him playing well,” Stricker said after the tournament, reported the PGA.

Graeme McDowell, who was paired with Woods, started out confident in his ability to challenge woods for first place, and rightly so, reports the New York Times.

At the 2010 World Challenge, McDowell faced the same deficit he did at the beginning of Sunday’s tournament, but had come out on top.
