Editor’s note: The Epoch Times here publishes direct translations of statements made by Chinese people in ‘renouncing’ the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its subordinate organizations. Statements such as these are submitted to a website affiliate of the Chinese version of The Epoch Times, Dajiyuan. The movement to renounce, withdraw from, or quit the CCP, called ‘tuidang’ in Chinese, began in late 2004, soon after The Epoch Times published the “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party,” an editorial series that explores the nature and history of the CCP. The statements offer a rare and candid glimpse of history in the making: the Chinese people turning their backs on the Communist Party, choosing conscience over pragmatism, and peacefully ushering in a future China free of Party rule.

‘The Communist Party will be overthrown sooner or later’

I hereby declare my renunciation of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. Recently, I learned how to break through the Internet blockade and was able to learn about many atrocities committed by the CCP. I used to think that most senior CCP leaders are good and only the local officials are bad. Now I realize that none of them are good. The senior leaders use their position to send their children abroad and to transfer their money outside China. This is too contemptible.

When I was a kid I was very proud that one of my family members was a high ranking official. We enjoyed a lot of special privileges. Now I know that the privileges are obtained by trampling on the rights of others.

I just graduated from college. Many students are applying to join the CCP so that they can make more money later. Little do they know that this Party will be overthrown sooner or later.

‘Make the right choice for a bright future’

I called my father today to ask if he wanted to renounce the Communist Party’s affiliated organizations. He is 63 years old. According to the policy, he is considered to have automatically resigned at his age. Since he took the oath, we must now pledge to quit. I briefly talked to him about the large number of people killed by the CCP, the evil nature of the CCP, and the devil nature of its founder, Mao Zedong. My father understood that the organization he had taken an oath to join is inherently evil. He agreed to quit but did not know how to do it. I said as long as you agree to quit, I can help. So now, on behalf of my father, I withdraw him from the CCP’s affiliated Youth League and Young Pioneers.

When I first read the real news online through the free anti-blockage software, I broke into tears. It was very painful to learn that a country with 5,000 years of history has now been destroyed by a Marxist cult.

I once dreamt that I had super powers and cut off an evil red dragon’s head. Now I understand that quitting CCP signifies the destruction of evil. Providence is merciful. I have come out of the deception created by the CCP. I shall make the right choice to start a new life. I shall also try my best to pass on this information to people I know. Regardless of what one did in the past, I hope everyone makes the right choice now to get a better future!

‘I realized the true face of the communists as I grew up’

I am not a member of the Communist Party. I am only 19 years old, but I am mature enough to understand the truth. When I was in the second grade I was too naïve and thought that it was “glorious” to join Young Pioneer group, affiliated with the Communist party. I “gloriously” joined the Youth League too, during my first year of junior high. I am now a sophomore. My parents asked me to join the Communist Party, but I refused with no regret. I have grown up. I will not sell my dignity to the selfish interests of the Party.

I am learning French now. I wish to learn French quickly and leave this country. I can see that under the leadership of the Communist Party, China will collapse sooner or later. Although I cannot change the Communist Party, I can at least stay away from it.

I wish you die, evil Communist Party. I will not be enslaved by you. I will preserve my own dignity.
