Top rated legal drama Suits is set for a fourth season on USA Network, and could premiere in the summer of 2014.

“As a leading cable drama, Suits is at the top of its game and continues to grow in the key demographics, drawing a passionate, young and loyal audience,” said Chris McCumber, president of USA Network. “Aaron Korsh consistently pushes the boundaries of storytelling and the series promises to deliver a provocative fourth season.”

The show has always premiered in the summer, and Season 4 should also air then.

Having signed an overall deal with Universal Cable Prods., show creator Aaron Korsh will carry on producing the series, as well as develop new scripted series.

There is no news yet whether any of the cast or crew are confirmed to return for Season 4.

Suits follows a pair of lawyers, Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), as they go about handling various cases. Nothing out of the ordinary, except there is a big secret between Harvey and Mike that could complicate matters.

While Mike is a genius with perfect recall, he doesn’t have a law degree. Nor is he from Harvard, and their firm’s policy is to only hire Harvard law graduates. If Mike’s secret is revealed, both Harvey (a senior partner) and Mike will be fired.

Season 4 should follow the same theme, or could spin-off in a different direction, depending on how the last few episodes of Season 3 pan out.
