The Star Wars Episode 7 rumors continue coming out, as a wide range of actors are being considered for roles in Episode VII. Further, new plot details indicate that Han Solo and Luke and Leai Skywalker will be the focus of the movie, while later additions to the popular series will then turn to their offspring.

Since Michael Arndt departed as writer in the fall, J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan have been working on revising the script.

The pair want to focus on the three main characters from the original series in Episode 7, so audiences can enjoy them one last time. Episode 8 and Episode 9 will then focus on their offspring, who would be in supporting roles in Episode 7, reported the Hollywood Reporter. George Lucas, who directed the original movie and the recent trilogy, was involved in the debate but has ultimately let Abrams and Kasdan decide.

So who is being considered for roles in the movie (which will likely turn into roles in the whole trilogy)? Let’s take a look at some of the actors being considered.

-Michael Fassbender of “The Counselor” and “12 Years a Slave”

-Hugo Weaving of “The Matrix” trilogy

-Adam Driver of the “Girls” television series

-Chiwetel Ejiofer of “12 Years a Slave”

-Benedict Cumberbatch of “Star Trek” and the “Sherlock” television series

-Jesse Plemons of the “Breaking Bad” and “Friday Night Lights” television series

-Saoirse Ronan of the “Lovely Bones” television series

Episode 7 is slated to come out in December 2015.
