A University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) football player has been charged with attempted murder and assault after authorities alleged he stabbed two teammates inside a campus athletic facility hours before the team’s final home game of the season.
According to charging documents filed in Jefferson County, 20-year-old offensive lineman Daniel Mincey is accused of attacking the players with a knife on Saturday morning at UAB’s Football Operations Building.
