Bradley Beal, one of the prized free agent additions of the 2025–2026 NBA offseason, will miss the rest of his first season with the Los Angeles Clippers due to a hip injury. Beal, 32, is set to undergo surgery in the near future with an expected full recovery.

The three-time All-Star suffered the injury in Saturday’s 114–103 home loss to the Phoenix Suns, Beal’s former team. After playing 20 minutes, Beal left that game in the third quarter due to hip soreness and did not return. He was then listed as questionable for the Clippers’ next game on Monday, a 105–102 loss to the Atlanta Hawks. However, Beal ended up being declared inactive shortly before the contest.
