In February 2024, Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas hosted what many consider to be the greatest Super Bowl in NFL history. The Kansas City Chiefs prevailed over the San Francisco 49ers, 25-22, in Super Bowl LVIII in what was just the second overtime game ever in The Big Game. The game is the third-most-watched American television broadcast, and with all of the superlatives that contest brought about, the NFL is running it back in Vegas come 2029.

On Monday, the National Football League announced that Super Bowl LXIII, also known as Super Bowl 63, will take place at Allegiant Stadium on the Las Vegas Strip. It will be the city’s second time hosting The Big Game, and this second occurrence is happening rather quickly. Las Vegas will become the 12th city to host multiple Super Bowls, but it will be just the fifth city to host multiple Big Games in the span of six years or fewer.
