Elden Campbell, the all-time leading scorer in the history of Clemson University basketball and a 15-year veteran of the NBA, passed away on Monday at the age of 57.

His alma mater revealed the news on Wednesday, though no cause of death was mentioned. However, the Campbell family issued a statement through the Detroit Pistons, one of Campbell’s former NBA teams, noting that he was fishing at the time of his death.
