Angelo Wright felt incomplete for his entire life—until the woman who raised him confessed that he'd been adopted.
The 18-year-old had serious medical problems when he was just a baby, prompting his biological mother to give him up to a wealthier family who could ensure his health.
Angelo immediately set about trying to find his birth family, but had trouble.
“I started to do a search,” he said. “I kept looking and looking, but I was never able to spell the names right.”
Then he stumbled across an old picture his birth mother had given his adopted parents. On the back were three names—his name, his older sister’s name, and his twin sister’s name.
Angelo then went on Facebook to try to find his twin.
“I go onto Facebook and I look at her [my twin], and that has to be her; that has to be my twin,” he said.
His instinct was confirmed when he saw her birthday was the same as his.
In the end, Angelo was able to reunite with his biological family. Awesome!
