With the holiday season and New Year now over, we seem to be left with just the bitter cold.
Luckily, New York City is a place were there is always things to do and sights to be seen.
On Tuesday during a particular cold evening, people were out in Manhattan’s Bryant Park ice rink. They came as couples, friends, and families. There were slips and falls as well as impressive twirls and whirls. But the mood never stopped short of being bright and warm, even as the sun slowly faded into the city skyline.
The ice rink at Bryant Park will be open to the public for free until March. 1, with skate rentals, lockers, and lessons available.
