Sharknado 2: The Second One is set to hit the television on July 30.

The movie will play on SyFy starting at 9 p.m. EDT.

The movie will later his movie theaters for one night, August 21.

The movie will also air around the world within 24 hours of its airing on SyFy, star Ian Ziering told Fox News.

“Last year I was doing press for Sharknado for five months because every country would get it one after another. Now it’s going to be all at once. If Twitter didn’t blow up last time, I’m pretty sure they’re going to challenge the hard drives over there this time for sure,” he said.

“A freak weather system turns its deadly fury on New York City, unleashing a Sharknado on the population and its most cherished, iconic sites–and only Fin and April can save the Big Apple,” according to the description.

The main cast includes Ian Ziering as Fin Shepard, Tara Reid as April Wexler, Vivica A. Fox as Skye, Mark McGrath as Martin Brody, Kari Wuhrer as Ellen Brody, Tiffany Shepis as Chrissie, and Raymond T. Williams as Maxx.

Ziering said that the success of the first movie has brought more work to him and that Sharknado 3 has been greenlit.
