A California paddle boarder was near Manhattan Beach when a great white shark swam underneath.
Mike Durand mustered the courage and stayed with it, filming from above. He did say repeatedly, however, that he was “shaking like a leaf.”
Durand had heard two great whites were spotted off the coast and had sought them out.
“That’s the footage I wanted to get,” he told KCTV5. “I didn’t know he would pursue me.”
