Korean tech giants Samsung will be holding its annual Galaxy Premiere event on Thursday, June 12.
This year’s event is called “Tab Into Color,” and will start at 7:00 p.m. EDT at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
A live stream of the event will be available on Samsung’s mobile devices Youtube channel. Interested viewers will have to subscribe to Samsung’s channel to watch the stream.
Samsung Mobile CEO JK Shin has revealed that Samsung will focus on tablets at Galaxy Premiere 2014, according to a Wall Street Journal report.
It is likely that the latest Galaxy Tab S tablet will be launched at the event.
Samsung’s latest tablet has been rumored to have a 10.5 inch screen, a 2560×1600 resolution display, an octa-core Exynos 5420 processor with Mali-T628 graphics, 3GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear and 2.1-megapixel front-facing cameras, and 32GB of internal storage expandable via a microSD slot.
The Galaxy Tab S is also expected to run Google Android 4.4.2 KitKat, and have LTE, GPS, WiFi a/b/g/n/ac, and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
Although tablets are the focus of this event, Samsung might take the chance to announce the Galaxy S5 Mini, Galaxy S5 Zoom, and Galaxy S5 Active too.
During the 2013 edition of Samsung Premiere, the Korean company announced the Samsung Ativ Q tablet-laptop hybrid, the Ativ Tab 3 tablet, the Ativ Book 9 Plus 13-inch laptop, the Ativ Book 9 Lite version, and the Ativ One 5 Style, an all-in-one desktop PC.
