Samsung continues its push out of the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update.
Although companies such as HTC and Motorola have started releasing the latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat or Android 4.4.3 KitKat update to their users, Samsung is still stuck on Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
So far, the only Samsung product that will run Android 4.4.4 KitKat is the Galaxy Alpha. The phone has been announced, but it will only launch in the beginning of September.
Samsung’s Android KitKat 4.4.2 was supposed to be the fix to the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean build, but it came with a number of problems of is own.
Users reported Wi-Fi and battery drain problems, as well as signal strength and reception troubles.
Still, Samsung is rolling out their Android 4.4.2 KitKat update to users.
