Rush Limbaugh Released from Hospital

U.S. radio show political personality and television anchor Rush Limbaugh was hospitalized earlier this week prompting rumors which led to several media groups reporting that he had died. Limbaugh held a press conference on Friday to say he was fine.

The 58 year old Limbaugh suffered from severe chest pains while at a hotel in Honolulu with symptoms similar to a heart attack, according to a report by the Associated Press.

False information about the death of Limbaugh circulated on several blogs. However, the mistaken reports were quickly caught soon after Limbaugh’s condition was published online.

Limbaugh has been a prominent figure in the conservative political arenas and has commented on a wide range of heated issues in American politics in a manner that has left some critics to label him as controversial.

Some of his proclamations have been viewed by critics as racist or unnecessarily negative.

Limbaugh has been know through out the years for having strong support for conservative ideals and conservative political campaigns, taking an adversarial role against Bill Clinton during his presidency during the 90’s.
