Last weekend 4 games were played in the HKFA Premier League Cup group stage, with South China starting the weekend with Friday’s (Oct 23) game against Dreams Metro Gallery at Mongkok Stadium, then Glory Sky Wong Tai Sin against Kwoon Chung Southern at Sham Shui Po Sports Ground on Saturday (Oct 24), and on Sunday (Oct 25) BC Rangers playing Eastern at Sham Shui Po Sports Ground, and Hong Kong Pegasus versus Yuen Long at Kowloon Bay Park.

HONG KONG—Last weekend 4 games were played in the HKFA Premier League Cup group stage, with South China starting the weekend with Friday’s (Oct 23) game against Dreams Metro Gallery at Mongkok Stadium, then Glory Sky Wong Tai Sin against Kwoon Chung Southern at Sham Shui Po Sports Ground on Saturday (Oct 24), and on Sunday (Oct 25) BC Rangers playing Eastern at Sham Shui Po Sports Ground, and Hong Kong Pegasus versus Yuen Long at Kowloon Bay Park.

In Friday night’s game, South China ran out 3-nil victors over Dream Metro Gallery, opening the scoring in the 23rd minute when Awal Mahama heading in Chan Siu Ki’s cross for a 1-nil half time lead, adding a second in the 61st minute when Chan Siu Ki converted Liang Zicheng’s cross, and Awal Mahama sealing the win with a third.

In Saturday’s game, Glory Sky Wong Tai Sin and Kwoon Chung Southern tied the game played
at Sham Shui Po Sports Ground. Glory Sky Wong Tai Sin opened the scoring in the 29th minute when Yuto Nakamura scored after Kwoon Chung Southern’s defence had failed to deal with a cross, and after Glory Sky Wong Tai Sin’s goalkeeper Tsang Man-fai had saved an 11th minute penalty kick taken by Kwoon Chung. Southern’s Joanthan Carril.Kwoon Chung equalised in the 57th minute when Diego Garrido headed in Michael Luk’s corner.

In Sunday’s first game, BC Rangers upset Eastern with a 2-nil victory, the win courtesy of two first half goals, the first in the 17th minute when Hui Ka-lok scored when Eastern failed to clear a corner, and the second in the 24th minute when Landon Ling converted a cross.

In Sunday’s other game, Hong Kong Pegasus ran out 1-nil winners, the only goal arriving in the 69th minute when Eduardo Praes headed in Joao Pereira’s free kick.

In the first division, HKFC were 1-nil victors over Kwun Tong, Citizen were 3-1 winners against Metro Gallery Sun Source, Wing Yee drew 3-all against Tai Po, Kwai Tsing drew 1-all with Double Flower, Sun Hei won 3-1 against Tai Chung, and Shatin drew 3-all with Lucky Mile.

HKFC lead the table on 19 points from 7 games, with Citizen second on 15 points with a game in hand, and Yau Tsim Mong third on 14 points with a game in hand.

In the second division, Sai Kung were 3-1 victors over Happy Valley, Sham Shui Po were 3-1 victors over Kwong Wah, Eastern District were 4-nil winners against Sparta Rotterdam Mutual, Tuen Mun won 3-1 against Tsuen Wan, Tung Sing won 1-nil against Kwok Keung, and Kowloon City drew 1-all witht Tuen Mun FC.

Sham Shui Po lead the table on 16 points, with Sai Kung and Eastern District joint second with 15 points from 6 matches, and |Sparta Rotterdam third on 14 points.

In the third division, KCDRSC won 1-nil against Sun International, Central & Western were 5-nil victors over Islands, Wing Go Fu Moon were 1-nil winners against GFC Friends, HKFYG were beaten 5-nil by Fukien, Rex Global North District were 4-2 victors over Telecom, New Fair Kui Tan were 4-1 winners against KCC, Hoi King were 9-nil victors over King Mountain, and St Joseph’s drew with Ornament.

Hoi King lead the table with a 100% record and 6 wins and 18 points, with Central and Western second with 16 points, and St Josephs third with 15 points.

Yau Yee League
In the first division, Albion won 3-1 against Colts, Wanderers were 2-nil victors over Swiss XI, USRC were 4-nil winners against HKDC Mobsters, KCC Dragons won 3-1 against The Store House Squadron, HKU70’s inflicted the first defeat of the season for GAS with a 2-nil victory, and Baker Tilly Spartans were 2-nil victors over Corinthians..

GAS and Albion lead the table 18 points from 7 matches, with Wanderers third with 16 points from the same matches.

In the second division, Azzurri drew 1-all with Boca Seniors, The Store Hose Hearts were 3-nil victors over IES, IUSC (Tai Po) drew 1-all with WYFC06, KCC Knights were 1-nil victors over Colloids FC, and French Kiss won 5-1 against GGFC.

KCC Knights lead the table with 18 points, with Azzurri second on 14 points, with GGFC third with 13 points, and French Kiss and IUSC (Tai Po) are equal fourth on 12 points, all from 7 matches.

In the third division, Grasshopperso drew 1-all against HKUSA, Goal Visio drew 1-all with White Youth, CSOB were 1-nil victors over HOB, Yan Po were 2-1 victors over Green Cypress FC, ANP won 6-1 against CAPS, and Dynamo were 2-nil winners against HKSS.

Dynamo lead the third division table with 18 points from 7 matches, with HOB in second place with 16 points from 7 games, with Yan Po third on 14 points, and Grasshoppers fourth on 13 points, and ANP fifth on 12 points, all from 7 matches.

In the fourth division, Darts were 3-1 victors over Skyline, Friends of Barclays drew nil-all with Scorpions, Power 22 were 3-l victors over Bapcoll, Hung Art won 2-nil against WYFC84, Maccabi HK won 7-1 against Rising Sun, and Outward Bound were 3-nil winners against Standard Chartered.

Friends of Barclays lead the table with 19 points from 7 matches, with Maccabi HK second with 18 points, and Scorpions third with 16 points, all from 7 matches.
