Rob Kardashian is accused of taking a photographer’s camera on Wednesday. Some other notable recent celebrity-paparazzi encounters including pinching, hot coffee dousing, and a unique “zombie” defense.
Rob Kardashian, 26, of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” was accused of grabbing a photographer’s camera out of her hands, striking her face in the scuffle, and running off with the memory card in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.
Other notable celebrity-paparazzi run-ins of late involve Justin Bieber, Amanda Byrnes, Alec Baldwin, Woody Harrelson, and Shia Labeouf.

Justin Bieber’s ‘Rough Morning’
On March 8, pop singer Justin Bieber had a yelling match with photographers that included a good deal of cursing. The photographer said “That’s assault,” as Bieber got into an awaiting SUV, according to a Music Television (MTV) article.
Bieber tweeted shortly after the incident: ““Ahhhhh! Rough morning. Trying to feel better for this show tonight but let the paps get the best of me... Sometimes when people r shoving cameras in your face all day and yelling the worst thing possible at u...well I’m human. Rough week.”
Amanda Byrnes Allegedly Pinches
In September 2012, actress Amanda Byrnes, known for “The Amanda Show” on Nickelodeon, allegedly pinched a photographer and begged him to only keep photos that make her look beautiful.
At the time, Byrnes received a lot of media attention for a driving under the influence (DUI) charge.
Byrnes was walking down Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood when the altercation, shown in video on Entertainment Tonight, occurred.
Byrnes offered to pose for photos if the photographer would agree to delete shots she didn’t like. She then resorted to trying to wrestle the camera from him. He claims she pinched him.
She is heard saying: “You have to delete the one of my face. You have to make me look beautiful.”
Woody Harrelson Uses Zombie Defense
Woody Harrelson got into a fight with a cameraman at the LaGuardia Airport in New York in 2009 while he was with his daughter, who was 12 years old at the time.
“Woody, this is assault, Woody,” the cameraman said repeatedly in a TMZ.com video of the fight uploaded to YouTube.
Harrelson’s defense is quoted by Fox News: “I wrapped a movie called `Zombieland,' in which I was constantly under assault by zombies, then flew to New York, still very much in character … With my daughter at the airport I was startled by a paparazzo who I quite understandably mistook for a zombie.”
Alec Baldwin Deemed ‘30 Rocky’
Alec Baldwin got into a physical altercation with photographer Marcus Santos in June 2012. Baldwin claimed the camera almost hit him, and he denied punching Santos, according to E-online.
New York Daily News published the photo on its front page with the headline “30 Rocky,” alluding to Baldwin’s television series “30 Rock.”
Baldwin appeared on “The Late Show With David Letterman” the following night.
“I mean,” Letterman said, according to E-online, “there’s a very fine line because...they have this picture, somebody took this picture, so what are they going to do? They’re going to publish it. But the picture, without knowing the true story, tells a tale that’s often not true.”
Shia Labeouf’s Run-by Coffee Splashing
Shia Labeouf, 26, is known for his displeasure with paparazzi. Labeouf, known for his role in the “Transformer” movies, took a unique approach to expressing his displeasure in a 2010 encounter.
Sitting at a table outside a cafe, he calmly closed his book, picked up his book bag and coffee, then ran by the photographer, dumping his coffee on him as he passed.
