Actor Brad Bufanda, who appeared on “Veronica Mars” was found dead on Wednesday morning, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to media outlets on Thursday.

He was 34 years old.

Officials said that Bufanda jumped off a building in an apparent suicide attempt. A transient found his body on a sidewalk at 1 a.m. on Wednesday, TMZ reported.

The actor “left a suicide note that was found on or near his body which gave the names of his parents along with a ‘thank you’ to people in his life,” the report stated.

Lt. David Smith of the Los Angeles County coroner’s office confirmed his death to Variety, saying it was due to traumatic injuries caused by jumping off a building. He ruled it a suicide.

Bufanda, who was born in Upland, California, played Felix Toombs on “Veronica Mars” for seasons 1 and 2, but he also appeared on other TV shows like “Days of our Lives,” “Malcolm in the Middle,” “Boston Public,” and “CSI.” His last listed role was in the 2018 film, “Stan the Man.”

Since 2010, he produced and starred in a series of YouTube videos.

“We are completely devastated for he was an extremely talented young actor and wonderful, caring human being,” his manager said in a statement to Variety. “He was reviving his career having just completed two movies, and we are shocked and saddened by his passing. The family would appreciate privacy at this difficult time.”
