Who says healthy eating has to be boring? These Healthy Nut Butter & Chocolate Cups are my homemade take on everyone’s favorite peanut butter cup—made with simple, wholesome ingredients and none of the refined sugars or unnecessary additives found in many store-bought treats. They satisfy a sweet craving while providing healthy fats, antioxidants, and fiber in every bite. Also, they just take 10 minutes to prep.

I love making these with my kids because they’re incredibly easy, fun to customize, and require no baking. Raw cacao powder is naturally rich in flavonoids, powerful antioxidants that support heart and brain health, while cinnamon supports healthy blood sugar balance. Nut butter provides satisfying healthy fats and a small boost of protein, and hemp hearts contribute additional plant-based protein, fiber, and omega-3 fatty acids.

Get creative with toppings like cacao nibs, unsweetened coconut flakes, freeze-dried fruit, chopped nuts, or even edible rose petals for a beautiful finish.

Time-saving tip: Make a double batch and keep them in the freezer. They store beautifully for weeks, and because you enjoy them straight from the freezer, it’s a simple way to help with portion control while always having a healthier dessert on hand.
