Real Madrid were beaten by Inter Milan 3-2 on penalties in their first International Champions Cup 2014 match, and will definitely be looking for a better result on Tuesday.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti was not displeased with his Madrid side despite the lost, and said that: “We played very well in attack during the first half, we dominated the game and had fresh legs.

“It was a very intense match with a lot of strong tackling.”

Ancelotti also felt that the United States is an “ideal place to do pre-season.”

“There are good facilities here and being able to train is not a problem.”

New Madrid signing James Rodriguez will be heading to the States on August 1, and fans will certainly be glad to support and cheer on the latest Galaticos.
