Coach Carlo Ancelotti was not displeased with his Madrid side despite the lost, and said that: “We played very well in attack during the first half, we dominated the game and had fresh legs.
“It was a very intense match with a lot of strong tackling.”
Ancelotti also felt that the United States is an “ideal place to do pre-season.”
“There are good facilities here and being able to train is not a problem.”
