Rapper Earl Simmons, aka DMX, was arrested after making an illegal U-turn in South California on Tuesday, reports TMZ. Police found marijuana in his car and also found he had a warrant out for driving without a license.
A friend of Simmons’s taped the incident; TMZ obtained a copy of the recording. Simmons was upset, yelling “This ain’t no normal traffic stop,” and saying he had been set up. Simmons was taken to a Greer County prison, where he will likely serve 10 to 15 days, according to TMZ. He will face a judge Wednesday.
