The preview trailer for Pretty Little Liars season 5, episode 2 has been released.
Episode 2 will air on June 17, as “PLL” is set to air every Tuesday night at 8 p.m.
ABC Family also released a text preview of episode 2, which it titled “Whirly Girlie.”
“With the events of New York behind them and back in Rosewood, the Liars are unsettled to still be living under a cloud of secrets. Aria is haunted by the recent past events, while Emily, Hanna and Spencer try to wrap their head around the new normal. Alison, on the other hand, is still sleeping with one eye open as she is forced to stay at home with her family – who she doesn’t trust.
“Meanwhile, Jason’s odd behavior and Kenneth DiLaurentis’ search for Jessica starts to raise eyebrows about her disappearance.”
The season 5 premiere saw several major plot points, including the death of Shana.
Ezra woke up in the hospital and appeared to tell Aria that Shana had shot him.
She rushed to the theater where the other PLLs were, and killed Shana just before Shana tried to kill others.

It appears that Spencer and Toby will also factor into episode 2, as Keegan Allen (Toby) shared a video on Instagram of the couple seemingly cuddling.
Troian Bellisario (Spencer) confirmed to Hollywood Life that the couple are still together.
“They’re very, very combustable and they’re never really far from a fight, but I think that they’re doing a good job of supporting each other now, especially after Spencer’s turn with the Adderrall addiction and everything,” she said. “He’s been really wonderful and so I hope he remains supportive.”
