Premier Hoang, 18, was one of three people shot in Richmond Hill just after midnight on Thursday morning, police said.
Two of the victims died.
The other was a 15-year-old girl whose name has not been publicly released yet.
The third victim, 20 years old and believed to be the girl’s brother, is recovering in the hospital with life-threatening injuries, reported the Toronto Star.
The shootings happened outside the Centre Green housing co-op on Centre Street.
The three were inside a red Lexus.
Police arrived and found all three shot after receiving calls about more than a dozen gunshots heard in the area.
Police believe the shootings were targeted and want anyone with information to get in touch.
