Police are responding to an apparent shooting at the Arden Fair Mall in Sacramento, according to preliminary reports on Wednesday.
“Officers onscene, report of shots fired in a parking lot in the 1600 block of arden wy at 1532 hrs,” the Sacramento Police Department said on Twitter.
“Update/Arden Wy, no injuries reported, officers on scene searching the area for possible suspects,” it added.
Steve Reed, security director at Arden Fair, told the Sacramento Bee that officials found shell casings in the mall’s garage.
The shooting occurred near the Macy’s department store, according to KCRA-3.
