June 2014 is a good month to be a Pokemon X and Y fan, as there are a number of distribution events forthcoming.

In Japan, a Pikachu inspired by the Assistant Director Pikachu on the variety show “Get TV” will be made available at Aeon malls on June 15, according to Serebii.

This particular version of Pikachu will have the move Mega Kick, as part of a 2014 World Cup tie in.

Pikachu is Japan’s official World Cup team mascot, along with Bulbasaur, Charmander, Chespin, Fennekin, Froakie, Helioptile, Litleo, Meowth, Pancham, and Squirtle.

Another ongoing distribution event in Japan is the “Diancie & the Cocoon of Destruction” Darkrai tie in. Those who pre-order tickets to the show will receive a level 50 Darkrai that comes with the moves Dark Void, Dark Pulse, Phantom Force, and Dream Eater. The promotion kicked-off in April 19, and will run till September 30.

Diancie will also be distributed during the Pokemon X and Y movie, and the event will begin when the movie premieres on July 19 up till September 30.

In France, Pokemon X and Y fans will stand the chance to get a Vivillon with a fancy “PokeBall Pattern” once the Global Trade Station (GTS) reaches 100 million trades.

According to an announcement, “Because of this characteristic, players around the world have been exchanging Vivillon via the GTS to collect all of the regional patterns.”

It continues: “This newly discovered Vivillon breaks with that tradition: it will become available to Pokémon fans across the globe once the 100 millionth Pokémon is traded via the GTS. When this enormous milestone is reached, a special distribution event will take place, enabling all players of Pokemon X or Pokemon Y to receive the Fancy Pattern Vivillon wherever they are in the world!”

The distribution event will take place at the Paris Pokemon Center at the Hotel de Villeroy from June 4 to June 21.
