Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire: ‘Fairy Face-Off’ Pokemon X & Y Online Competition Registration Starts

Are you a Pokemon X or Pokemon Y owner and eagerly anticipating the release of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire and looking for some action?

The Pokemon Company is holding a special “Fairy Face-Off” online Pokemon tournament for Pokemon X and Y.

Only Level 30, Fairy Type Pokemon can be used in this Single Battle tournament. Xerneas and Diancie are banned from the tournament, however.

Registration has already began, and will end on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 7:59 p.m. EDT.

Interested Pokemon trainers will need a Pokemon Trainer Club account to register, and will have to accept the rules and regulations of Pokemon Global Link before the tournament commences.

Serebii.net has released a bunch of new screen shots from the game recently that feature Team Magma’s Maxie and Team Aqua’s Archie, as well as the male and female protagonist of the game, so you can head over for a look.

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be released for the Nintendo 3DS and 2DS on November 21 in North America, Japan, and Australia, and will be out in Europe on November 28.
