Even Academy Award winners aren’t exempt from the tedious procedure of Airport security.
After winning an oscar for Best Foreign Langue Film at Sunday’s Academy Awards, Hungarian filmmaker László Nemes posted a photo of his Oscar, which he had to take out of his carry to go through security.
“Airport Security, no exceptions,” he wrote in Hungarian on his Facebook page.
The award-winning ‘Son of Saul’ directed by Nemes takes place during World War II in the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz. The movie features two days in the life of a Hungarian prisoner working at one of Auschwitz’s crematoriums.
