An alleged gunman was reported near the courthouse near Orlando, Fla., on Friday morning. Viera High School and Viera Charter School were both on lockdown, as was the courthouse.
ClickOrlando.com reported that the man was near the Brevard County courthouse, which was placed on lockdown.
Viera High School and Viera Charter School are located nearby and they were locked down as a precaution.
Deputies said the gunman was “contained,” the website reported.
Authorities were negotiating with the man. Deputies were also spotted on the roof.
