On May 25, 2023, the U.S. Navy celebrated the redelivery of the USS George Washington (CVN-73), a Nimitz-class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, after a six-year Refueling and Complex Overhaul (RCOH) that had dragged out for nearly two years beyond its planned four-year schedule.
