One in four professional-class workers have not had a raise in five years. This is according to a new study by the Burning Glass Institute, which conducted the study with New York University’s School of Professional Studies. They have hit a wall in terms of pay. Those in this group know this. They hang on to their jobs in this no-hire/no-fire economy.
