America’s Nutrition Crisis Is Funded by Taxpayers

When I see videos of people on TikTok furious that they can’t use their SNAP benefits to buy soda or candy anymore, I have two reactions. First, I understand the frustration—nobody likes to be told what they can’t have. But then I think about the bigger picture: America’s largest “nutrition” program is funneling billions of taxpayer dollars every year into products that make us sick: soda, candy, and junk food.
