In a move that has drawn both optimism and caution, Donald Trump signed an executive order to accelerate research and access to a new class of mental health treatments, including psychedelic-assisted therapies for conditions such as PTSD, severe depression, and addiction. For many Americans especially veterans and families who have watched loved ones struggle this feels overdue. But the significance of this moment goes beyond a single policy.
