Nicole Kidman can’t believe that her friend L'Wren Scott--who lived in the same Manhattan apartment building as she does--is dead.
The pair have been “close friends” for a quarter of a century, a representative for the star actress told Rumorfix.com.
“Nicole is heartbroken and in shock right now and unable to say anything,” the representative said.
Scott was found in her building on Monday morning by her assistant.
The fashion designer was the longtime girlfriend of Mick Jagger, the Rolling Stones frontman.
Jagger is in Australia on tour.
Jagger’s spokesman told reporters in a statement that the singer is “completely shocked and devastated” by the sudden death.
Scott’s clothing and accessories have been worn over the years by many of Hollywood A-listers, including Kidman, Angelina Jolie, and Penelope Cruz.
The NYPD is investigating the death. A suicide is suspected but not confirmed.
