The tributes continue to pour in for Kobe Bryant.

The video game series NBA2K announced Los Angeles Laker Kobe Bryant will appear on the cover of NBA2K17 in a special edition, titled the “Legend Edition.”

The video game will include Kobe Panini trading cards, a Black Mamba game controller skin along with in-game Kobe gear, and a limited-edition Bryant poster. Digitally, the game will also include 30,000 virtual currency and MyTEAM Bundle plus Bryant hoodie, and much more.

“It’s a great honor to partner with 2K on the NBA 2K17 Legend Edition,” said Kobe Bryant. “As I walk off the NBA court for the final time, it’s exciting to know my fans can continue to celebrate my lifelong career as a Los Angeles Laker.”

Ever since Kobe Bryant announced his retirement in a letter to fans, tributes have poured in for the five time NBA champion. California native Kendrick Lamar paid homage to Bryant in ESPN clip, “Fade to Black” on April 12. Written by Scoop Jackson, Lamar reminisces on the many of Bryant’s basketball highlights across his 20 year career.

This is the second NBA2K cover for the 18-time All-Star appearing on the cover of NBA 2K10 in 2009.

The video game will be available for purchase in September 2016 and to ensure a piece of history, fans can pre-order NBA 2K17 at any participating North American retail, and online vendors.

Kobe Bryant will play his last game in a Laker uniform on April 13 when he takes on the Utah Jazz.
