The National Postal Mail Handlers Union (NPMHU) on Sept. 16 endorsed Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden, calling him “a proven advocate for members of the labor movement.”
In announcing the endorsement, Paul Hogrogian, national president of the NPMHU, in a statement (pdf) touted Biden’s past support for the United States Postal Service (USPS) and postal workers, noting that when he served as senator, Biden supported six-day delivery and “fought against privatization.”
