Netherlands Electronic Dance Music festival Mysteryland will make its U.S. debut in Bethel Woods, New York; the site of the legendary 1969 Woodstock festival.

Dubbed as the world’s longest running electronic festival, Mysteryland will be held on Saturday May 24 and Sunday May 25. There will be over 250 DJ’s performing, the most prominent being Steve Aoki, Kaskade, and Nicky Romero. The Holy Ground Opening party will be held on Friday May 23 hosted by Nicky Romero.

Mysteryland will be the first festival to be held in Bethel Woods since Woodstock. According to SFX Chairman/CEO Robert F.X. Sillerman, “Woodstock changed everything when it took place in 1969 – music, culture, the way we looked at the world” and later added that: “Mysteryland did the same 20 years ago. It is the logical festival to follow in the footsteps of the original ground-breaking music event.”

The festival made it’s Latin American debut in Chile in 2011, the first time Mysterland was held outside of Europe.

According to Mysteryland’s USA website, phase two of ticket sales will go on sale Tuesday March 11. Coincidentally enough, the Electric Daisy Carnival will be held in New York City the same weekend Mysteryland makes its North American debut.
