The identity of the suspect arrested shortly after the failed Copenhagen attack last Friday is still unknown, and any information about his identity or whereabouts are very welcomed, said the Danish National Police Sunday morning.

According to police, the suspect is 25-35, about 5'11“, athletic looking and has a “central to southern European appearance.” He speaks fluent English and French with a German accent. He has a scar on the right of his face and his nose appears to have been broken several times.

The Belgium police have been alerted to the case because the suspect also has a false Belgium passport and had bought a bus ticket to Brussels.

Meanwhile, the local media speculate that the planned attack may have been targeting the office of Danish daily Jyllands-Posten that published the controversial caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed in 2005, which outraged Muslims around the world. However, the managing director of the daily, Lars Munch and the Danish police denied knowledge of any specific threats to Jullands-Posten.
