The Mumbai Indians are set to take on the Southern Express in the Champions League Twenty20 qualifying on Sunday.

The teams are set to play at Chhattisgarh International Cricket Stadium, Raipur starting at 8:00pm IST (6:30pm GST, 2:30pm GMT).

The match will be broadcast on Star Sports in India and Star Cricket in Sri Lanka and the rest of South East Asia.

It will also be broadcast on Astro in Malaysia, Gazi TV in Bangladesh, PTV in Pakistan, Supersport in Africa, Eurosport in the United Kingdom and Europe, ESPN in the United States and South America, Sportsnet in Canada, OSN in the Middle East, and SKY TV in New Zealand.

Live streaming will be available through most broadcasters.

The Indians and the Express are two of the four teams in qualifying. Only two teams will advance. Each team will play each other over the next couple days.

Both teams lost their first match--the Indians by 6 wickets to the Lahore Lions and the Express by 7 wickets to the Northern Knights.

After this match, the Indians will play the Knights on Tuesday, September 16 at 8 p.m. IST; the Express will play the Lions on the same day at 4 p.m. IST.

As for this match, the Indians “will be hoping for several things that didn’t work well for them in the opening match to fall in place,” the official CLT20 website says.

“On the batting front, the team will hope to build a platform and keep wickets in hand, before launching in the final quarter. It is very important that the team reassesses their batting plans, especially now because they are missing the services of Rohit Sharma, who would normally be a very important cog in the wheel.

“Southern Express will be hoping for a better effort from their batsmen, especially at the back end of the innings. In their opening match against the Northern Knights, they lost four wickets in the final two overs which resulted in a loss of momentum. The bowlers too came in for plenty of stick and will need to raise their game by several notches.”
