Supreme Court Readies to Upend the Gun Control Push; Roe v. Wade Protesters Won’t Write Off Violence

A group of Republicans in the Senate have worked with Democrats to draft gun control laws, which are likely to soon get signed into law. Yet, as this happens, the Supreme Court is working to make key decisions on gun rights that could upend the efforts.

Meanwhile, as the Supreme Court is expected to issue its ruling, potentially overturning Roe v. Wade on abortion, the FBI is warning that violence will not be tolerated. Yet, activist groups involved in protests are openly stating they won’t rule out the use of violence, others have been firebombing pro-life facilities, and illegal protests at the homes of Supreme Court justices have been allowed to continue regardless by the Biden administration.

And in other news, cases of monkeypox recently doubled in the United States, and health authorities are going back and forth over issuing new health recommendations or mandates to slow the spread of the virus.

In this live Q&A with Crossroads host Joshua Philipp, we’ll discuss these stories and others, and answer questions from the audience.
